The two editions
There are exactly two editions — no collector’s tier:
- Standard Edition — $79.99. The full game for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- Ultimate Edition — $99.99. Adds exclusive in-game content (clothing, missions, vehicles and weapons) plus a free month of GTA+.
Everyone who buys before November 20 also gets the Vintage Vice City Pack bonus content — pre-ordering early doesn’t lock you out of anything, but there’s no extra edition to hunt for.
The no-disc catch
The most controversial confirmed detail: the physical edition ships without a disc. It’s a code in a box. Rockstar confirmed physical copies begin shipping November 12, 2026 — the same day digital preload opens — one week ahead of the November 19 launch.
If you’re buying “physical” for collection or resale reasons, know what you’re getting: packaging and a code, not a disc — at least at launch.
Whether a disc pressing ever follows is unconfirmed — reports conflict, with some saying no disc is planned at all and others pointing to a possible printing months after launch. Treat both as rumor.
